[Wixoss] Donna Allstar Format Review and Decklist



Back again with Ziraldi in LilBun TCG, and in this post we will be discusing abbout Donna, White LRIG in Loststorage that I really love to play. So first of all lest talk about Donna mechanic, so Donna associated with White Apparition SIGNI that mainly use Layer Mechanic, so layer is a effect that allowing them to give their abilities to other Apparition SIGNI, this allowing them to make huge power wall so opponent can't do lancer to you and also it can also protect her SIGNI from her's opponent arts of ability that would remove them from the field.

First of all before we jump to discus the Apparition SIGNIs lets see the LRIG frist Donna. Soo Donna is a White LRIG and thats makes her have many White characteristic of protecting their field and searching their deck for cards that you need, and because she's Loststorage LRIG thats makes her have a Coin at the start of the game from the Level 0 form.


Donna gets 3 Coins at the start of the game, and thats is a huge amount because the maximum Coins that can be held is 5 and also there is many White ARTS and Donna ability that gain boost effect when using Coins or great effect that cost some Coins, and first we will see how many of Donna LRIG Cards give Coins.


So overal we have 3 Donna LRIG Cards that give Coins, Level 0 give you 3 Coins from just starting the game, Level 1 give you 1 Coin with the cost of discarding 1 Card, Level 2 give you 1 Coin just from growing, and then Level 3 give you 1 Coin with the cost of 1 White ener, so thats makes Donna give 6 Coins total if you use all 3 of hers in your LRIG Deck, that's make 1 Coin more than the total coin can be held in the Match.

Next we gonna discus Donna other card that doesn't involve gaining Coins. I'm gonna start from level 1 first.


Donna FIRST+
On-Play [Coin] : Look at the top 2 cards of your deck, reveal 1 <Aparition> SIGNI from among them and add it to your hand, and put the rest on the bottom of your deck in any order.

This is good for doing searching for the missing card from your Deck back in the day, but using one Coin from the start of the game will leave you with 2 Coins if you Grow to non Coin Gain LRIG Cards.


Donna THIRD++
On-Play : Discard 1 card from your hand : Search your deck for 1 <Apparition> SIGNI, reveal it, and add it to your hand. Then, shuffle your deck.

This effect is really good for completing your formation on your field or preparing for the next turn, and also this card can also do a combination with one of the SIGNI that limited for Donna only named Fuurai, Phantom Aparition, This is really good to fix your hand card too.


Donna FOURTH
Constant : If 1 of your <Apparition> SIGNI would be banished during your opponent's turn, instead of being banished, this ability is lost until end of turn.
On-Play : Search your deck for up to 2 <Apparition> SIGNI, reveal them, and add them to your hand. Then, shuffle your deck.
Action Escape {Attack Phase} [3Coin] : Skip this turn's SIGNI attack step.

Donna FOURTH have the best effect IMO, lets discus about the Constant first, so she can protect one of your SIGNI from being banished, this is good for protecting Donna SIGNI that have a really good Layer ability, and also Donna opponent must do an extra Banishing for clearing up the field to attack, but this skill can only cancel out banish of Donna <Apparition> SIGNI only once so the next time Donna <Apparition> SIGNI would be banish again She can't prevent it.

Up next is her On-Play, can do a direct search when grow, and also having no cost its really good, personally this is really the best thing she do because when you know how your opponent wil play the game and their playstyle Donna can search the deck for the SIGNI that will give your opponent hard time to deal with or maybe that makes them can't do any move to remove Donna SIGNI, in a more tactical playstyle when you see all of <Apparition> SIGNI the have answer for many problem that you will encounter with many LRIG or SIGNI, so this is a good way to prepare your field.

now Donna Coin bet ability, Escape. skipping your Opponent and also Donna SIGNI attack phase this is actually really good because its gonna leave you with only LRIG attack step that can be guarded. and also when your SIGNI is going to be banished this way they can stay on the field to do more works on the next turn.


Donna FOURTH++
On-Play : Search your deck for up to 2 SIGNI with {Layer}, reveal them, add them to your hand, and shuffle your deck.
Action 1/turn [Main Phase] [Attck Phase] [2Coin] : Search your deck for 1 SIGNI with {Layer}, put it onto the field, and shuffle your deck.

Donna FOURTH++ have an On-Play effect that almost similar to Donna FOURTH but this one search for card with {Layer} basically its search for <Apparition> SIGNIs too.
The Action one is really good because She can fill up the gap that she have on the field to block your opponent attack or search for card for you to attack.


Donna FOURTH+++
Auto : At the beginning of each attack phase, until the end of turn, 1 SIGNI loses all of its classes and gains <Apparition>.
Auto : Whenever 1 <Apparition> SIGNI attacks, add 1 non-colorless SIGNI with the same level as that SIGNI from your trash to your hand.
Action Escape [Coin] : Until the end of your opponent's next turn, you can't be damage by your opponent's LRIG, and cards in your hand and ener zone cannot be moved to the deck or trash by your opponent's effects.

So Donna can give other SIGNI that not <Apparition> become <Apparition> and by doing so the other <Apparition> SIGNI that have protective Layer ability can protect that SIGNI from danger, this is really good and also you can do some offensive combo with this too.

This is the interesting part because Donna can salvage for the copy of the card on the field from trash so that she can make the exact formation if her opponent do some field destruction ability or wipe her SIGNI from the field, and also there is an <Apparition> SIGNI that can be activated when they're in hand to do some defensive play, so theres many function and combination when using this ability of Donna.

This is another Donna ability with Escape name, having Donna can't be damage by her opponent LRIG is good but the best part is where your ener zone and hand cannot be moved to deck or trash makes you save from ener burning or hand discarding ability that can be difficult to handle if its keep going for the rest of the match si having some save turn for you ener and hand is good to do some finishing move when the time is ripe.


Donna FIFTH
Auto : At the begining of each attack phase, choose 1 of the following 3.
    1. Until end of turn. 1 of your <Apparition> SIGNI gains [Assasin].
    2. Until end of turn. 1 of your <Apparition> SIGNI gets +10000 power.
    3. Add 1 <Apparition> SIGNI from your trash to your hand.
Action [Attack Phase] [2Coin] : Return up to 3 of your <Apparition> SIGNI to your hand. Then, put up to 3 <Apparition> SIGNI from yout hand onto the field.

Donna gets many interesting ability here, so Donna get to pick 1 out of 3 effect and all of them are good for dong offense and defense, also you can even combine or fix your formation during attack phase and this is a good things because you can switch you offense formation with your defensive formation and fix up your field.

Well that's about all of Donna LRIG Cards, now lets see Donna limited ARTS Cards and also my favorite ARTS that I use when playing with Donna. so if you have another cards in your mind that can go well with donna please let me know in the comment below.


Call Wonder
Bet-[2Coin]
Search your deck for 1 <Apparition> SIGNI and put it onto the field. then, shuffle your deck. If you bet, instead search your deck for up to 2 <Apparition> SIGNI and put them onto the field. Then, shuffle your deck.

With thius arts Donna can fill out empty SIGNI Zone with <Apparition> SIGNI that can give more defensive power and this arts can only be activated when Attack Phase. also there's no level limitation so thats mean when it is in late game this cars can search any <Apparition> SIGNI that you need foe that turn.


Nameless Fear
Bet [2Coin]
Choose 2 of the following. You may choose the same effect twice. If you bet, choose 4 instead. You may choose the same effect two or more times.
    1. Target 1 of your opponent's SIGNI, and return it yo their hand. you discard 1 card from your hand.
    2. Until the end of turn, 1 of your opponent's LRIGs gets "Can't attack".
    3. Search your deck for 2 <Apparitio> SIGNI with different levels, reveal them, and add them to your hand. then, shuffle your deck.

IMO Nameless Fear is the best arts in Donna arsenal right now without using Coin for the cost Donna can simply remove 1 to 2 SIGNI from attacking Donna, also preventing opponent's LRIG from attackin, but Donna can also get <Apparition> SIGNI from the deck too so this is a really good effect without Coin as the cost, but if Donna use Coin for the cost, Donna can do deffensive play by removing 3 of opponent's SIGNI and prevent opponent's LRIG from attacking, also you got an option to search your deck foe more <apparition> SIGNI froim the deck.


Piece Sign
When using this ARTS, you may pay additional W.
Choose 1 of the following 2. if you paid the additional W, choose 2 instead.
    1. Put 1 <Apparition> SIGNI from your hand onto the field.
    2. Until end of turn, all of your <Apparition> SIGNI with Layer gain "{layer} Auto : When this SIGNI leaves the field, target 1 of your opponent's SIGNI, and return it ti their hand"

Back in the day this was an expensive and rare card with really good effect because its came from Blu-ray/DVD, tho it was reprinted in Legend ARTS Pack. So the effect that you really want to activate is the second one of giving {Layer} effect that will make Opponent's SIGNI went back to their hand, so this can be use to do offensive play or defensive play and its really good because you opponent will think twice before removing SIGNI from the field.


Xeno Express
Bet [Coin]
Search your deck for 1 white SIGNI, reveal it, and add it to your hand. Then, shuffle your deck. If you bet, additionally search your deck for 1 SIGNI, reveal it, and add it to your hand. Then, shuffle your deck.

This is one of my favorite ARTS because it give the advantage at the first turn of getting my missing card combos for the next turn and also you can check what cards missing from your hand and deck and that mean you already know what are the cards that was in the Life Cloth. this is a really good move to predict what will come next when the Life Cloth is Crush.


Pinch Defense
Until end of turn, 1 of your opponent's LRIGs gets "can't attack". If your LRIG is white, and you have 2 or less Life Cloth, instead, until end of turn, 1 of your opponent's LRIGs and 1 of yout opponent's SIGNI gets "can't attack"

This id one of the best defensive ARTS when Donna almost run out of Life Cloth and its really good to stop a combo too, and also it have cheap cost oh 1 W 1 N for stoping up to 2 attacks. Personally this makes Donna have many option on how to stop her opponent's attack.


Innocent Defense
The N cost of this ARTS can only be paid with the color of your LRIG.
Choose up to 2 of the following 4.
    1. Until end of turn, 1 of your opponent's LRIGs gets "can't attack".
    2. Down and Freeze 1 of your opponent's SIGNI.
    3. Until end of turn, 1 of your SIGNI gets "can't be banished".
    4. Add up to 2 SIGNI with the same color as your LRIG from your trash to your hand.

This is a best defensive ARTS and I really like Donna art in this card too, and yes with all those effect to pick, it will be good because we gonna get many option of what to do when the opponent gonna do some attack.


Arc Destruct
This card can only be used if your LRIG is lever 4 or less. Until end of turn, your LRIG gain "When this LRIG attacks, if you did not use any ARTS other than <Arc Destruct> this turn, you may put 2 cards under this LRIG into LRIG trash. if you do, up this LRIG.".

Arc Destruct is picked because Donna doesnt have any Exceed ability so the card under her can be use for Arc Destruct to make Donna do more attack when in level 4, but after getting Level 5 Arc Destruct will be pointless, so we need to make the timing right.


Succeed Destruct
Until end of turn, Your LRIG gains
"Action [Main Phase][Attack Phase] Exceed 4:Target 1 of your opponent's SIGNI , and banish it."
"Action [Main Phase][Attack Phase] Exceed 4:Your draw 2 cards."
"Action [Main Phase][Attack Phase] Exceed 4:Put the top 2 cards of your deck into the ener zone"

Also the same with Arc Destruct that this card can do Exceed, also this one can do defensive play and also removing Strong SIGNI like arcgain because this card give LRIGH new ability, also when you out of hand or low on ener LRIG can also use the other effect too so this is a really good card that can give many option.


Ghost Party
Choose 1 of the following 2.
   1. Banish 1 of your <Apparition> SIGNI. if you do, Search Your Deck for 1 <Apparition> SIGNI, reveal it, and put it into your hand. Then Shuffle your deck.
    2. Put 2 <Apparition> SIGNI from your field into the trash. if you do, target 1 of your opponent's SIGNI, return it to their hand. 

With all of the search engine and draw engine white deck have doin the secodn ability will be easy and also theres quite amount of card that can take  card that was put to your trash back, also if you we're trying hard to remove all SIGNI on opponent's field you can combine this card with Piece Sign or maybe with snow queen, it will be fun to experiment things with Donna.

Now lets move on to Donna's SIGNI, now I will only explain the formation that I use, now first when I grow to Leve 1 I usualy didn't put any SIGNI so that my opponent hit me and give some ener, I use Xeno Express to gets SIGNI for the formation in the Level 2. Karakasa, Azuara, Sunakake for making Azuara have Lancer from Sunakake Layer ability, because Azuara have 8000 power from Azuara and Karakasa Layer ability. here are the card formation Azuara was always put infront of SIGNI zone that have SIGNI on it. this way you an crush up to 2 Life Cloth in SIGNI Attack Phase.


When I reach level 3 I usualy searching for Fuurai and Brownie incase Sunakake is still on the field, so the formation is Fuurai, Sunakake, and Brownie to make opponent choose the signi that will be banished and fun part is you can copy other Layer abbility from trash so copu layer ability like Sunakake or Karaten is good or maybe Nue for a more save play.


Fun part when Donna reach Level 4 theres many SIGNI that can be play and my goal is to bounce back all of my opponent SIGNI and place SIGNI with defensive Layer ability, to make sure that my opponent got limited option to remove the SIGNI. also theres already many option and I dont really put 4 copy of every SIGNI, I always put up to 2 of every signi in Donna deck because that way I have many option for every cases
